The latest update for the Microsoft Xbox 360 is set to be released in the next coming days, reports msxbox-world. The long rumored update adds a key feature the 360 has been missing against its rival the PlayStation 3 - Full Stereoscopic 3D.
The new update will allow users to enabled 3D for use with their 3D TV sets - giving the Xbox 360 full stereoscopic 3D. The dashboard text reads "Enable 3D to use stereoscopic 3D in games and experiences that support it". The dashboard option also has a setting to auto detect TV size or allow users to input their screen size manually.
Games like Gears of War 3, Batman: Arkham City and Halo CE: Anniversary, are confirmed to be enabled with 3D support.
